Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to the joneasy.africa website and use of the JonEasy platform and its apps JonEasy PRO, JonEasy NOW and JonEasy SUPPLIERS, published by IS Dev Experts S.A. (the “Publisher”).

By creating an account, installing an app or using any of the services, you acknowledge that you have read the Terms and accept them without reservation. If you do not accept them, you must not use the services.

01Purpose and scope

The Terms apply to the joneasy.africa website, to the mobile apps JonEasy PRO (venue management: bars, restaurants, snack bars, wine shops and local stores), JonEasy NOW (the app for the venues' customers) and JonEasy SUPPLIERS (management of drinks depots and wholesalers), and to the related interfaces, dashboards, notifications and modules, current or future (together, the “Services”).

Territorial scope. The Services are offered in the countries where the Publisher has opened them. Payment methods, currencies, plans and some features vary from one country to another. The Terms apply to every User whatever their country, subject to the mandatory public-policy provisions of their country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.

Contractual documents. The Terms are supplemented by the Privacy Policy and, for Organisations, by the licence terms and the plan subscribed in the app. In case of conflict, the licence terms prevail over the Terms as regards the subscription.

02Definitions

  • “User”: any person who accesses the Services, with or without an Account.
  • “Account”: a User's personal space, created from their phone number.
  • “Organisation”: a venue, sales point or depot created in JonEasy PRO or JonEasy SUPPLIERS, and the natural or legal person operating it.
  • “Administrator”: the User who created the Organisation or who holds the widest privileges in it.
  • “Employee”: a User attached to an Organisation by its Administrator, with a given access profile.
  • “Customer”: a JonEasy NOW User who browses, books, orders or pays at an Organisation.
  • “Plan”: the licence subscribed by an Organisation, which sets the applicable features, quotas, limits and commission.
  • “Booster”: a paid add-on that raises one of the Plan's quotas for a given period.
  • “Wallet”: a prepaid balance attached to a JonEasy NOW Account, usable at the Organisations that accept it.
  • “Payment Provider”: a licensed institution or operator (mobile money operator, payment aggregator, bank, card issuer) that executes electronic payments.
  • “Content”: anything published or transmitted by a User or an Organisation (photos, catalogues, prices, announcements, promotions, statuses, reviews, messages).

03Access to the Services and age requirements

The Services are reserved for natural persons who are of legal age and have legal capacity, and for legal persons acting through a duly authorised representative. By using the Services, the User represents and warrants that they meet these conditions.

JonEasy NOW is strictly reserved for persons who have reached the age of majority or, if higher, the legal age for buying and consuming alcohol in their country. Any false statement is the sole responsibility of its author and justifies immediate closure of the Account. The Publisher may at any time request proof of age or identity and suspend the Account until it is provided.

Employee accounts are attached by the Administrator, under the sole responsibility of the Organisation, which warrants compliance with applicable labour law.

The User is responsible for the equipment, Internet connection and telecommunication costs needed to use the Services.

04Accounts, credentials and security

The User provides accurate, complete and up-to-date information and keeps it so. Only one customer Account is allowed per natural person. To create an Organisation, the User must first hold a customer Account.

The phone number, the PIN and the device's authentication methods (fingerprint, face recognition) are strictly personal. Any operation carried out from an Account, and in particular any operation confirmed by PIN or biometric authentication, is deemed to have been carried out by its holder and constitutes express consent to that operation.

The User informs the Publisher without delay, at contact@joneasy.africa, of any loss, theft or unauthorised use of their Account. Until such notice, they remain liable for the operations carried out.

Within an Organisation, the Administrator assigns each Employee a profile and privileges. The Organisation is solely responsible for granting, reviewing and withdrawing these rights, for appointing withdrawal approvers, and for all acts carried out by its Employees in the Services.

05Description of the Services and role of the Publisher

JonEasy PRO lets Organisations manage their settings, staff, stock, orders, accounts and kitchen, and order from depots. JonEasy SUPPLIERS lets depots manage their catalogue and stock, receive orders, deliver them and collect payment. JonEasy NOW lets Customers discover venues, browse their catalogue, book, order and pay on site, and follow their loyalty and spending.

Technical intermediary. The Publisher provides a software tool for management and for putting parties in touch. It is not a seller, restaurateur, drinks retailer, wholesaler, carrier, employer of the Organisations' Employees, credit institution or payment service provider. Contracts of sale, booking, supply and delivery concluded through the Services are concluded exclusively between the Users and the Organisations concerned. The Publisher is not a party to them and assumes no obligation regarding the quality, conformity, safety, availability, price or delivery of products and services.

The Publisher may change the Services at any time: add, modify or remove a feature, module or payment method, without the User being entitled to any compensation. Features marked as trial or upcoming are provided without any warranty.

06Plans, licences and billing of Organisations

JonEasy NOW is free for Customers. Use of JonEasy PRO and JonEasy SUPPLIERS by an Organisation requires a Plan, after any free trial period granted when the sales point or depot is created.

The applicable prices, quotas, limits, commissions and Boosters are those displayed in the app for the Organisation's country at the time of subscription or renewal. Amounts shown on the joneasy.africa website are given for information; in case of difference, the terms displayed in the app prevail.

Depending on the Plan, billing includes a monthly or yearly licence fee, a commission calculated on the sales and bookings recorded in the Services, the price of any Boosters and, where applicable, the cost of running announcements and advertising, billed in arrears.

Amounts due are payable on the date shown on the invoice. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, amounts paid are retained by the Publisher and are not refundable, including in case of early termination or partial use of a quota. Failure to pay when due entitles the Publisher to deactivate the sales point or depot until full settlement, without prejudice to recovery of the amounts due.

The Publisher may change its prices. New prices apply from the next term, after the Organisation has been informed in the app. An Organisation that refuses them may choose not to renew its Plan.

Exceeding a quota or limit may block the operation concerned until the next period, the purchase of a Booster or an upgrade to a higher Plan. The Publisher is not liable for the consequences of such blocking.

07Orders, bookings, payments and Wallet

An order or booking request is an offer that the Organisation is free to accept or refuse, in particular in case of unavailability. Prices, promotions, booking deposits, container deposits and terms of sale are set by the Organisation, under its sole responsibility.

Depending on what each Organisation accepts and what is available in the country, payments may be made in cash, by mobile money, by merchant code, by bank card, by bank transfer or any other method offered by a Payment Provider, by Wallet, by coupon or by gift card.

Electronic payments. Electronic payments and Wallet top-ups are executed by licensed Payment Providers, under their own terms, which the User accepts by using their services. The Publisher does not receive, hold or transfer funds on behalf of Users outside that framework, and has no access to full bank card details. It is not liable for any delay, failure, double debit, fee or refusal attributable to a Payment Provider, a telecommunications operator or a bank.

Merchant code. Payment by merchant code is initiated by the Customer with their operator, outside the Services, then confirmed in the app by the Organisation. The Organisation is solely responsible for checking that the funds have actually been received before confirming payment.

Wallet, coupons and gift cards. The Wallet is a prepaid balance intended exclusively for paying for purchases at the Organisations that accept it. It is neither a bank account nor a deposit account, bears no interest, and is neither transferable nor convertible into cash, unless mandatory law or the Publisher's express agreement provides otherwise. Coupons, loyalty rewards and gift cards are issued by the Organisations or under their rules, have no monetary value outside the Services and may carry an expiry date.

A payment confirmed in the Services is deemed final. Any dispute relating to an order, product, booking, deposit, debt or refund is to be settled directly between the Customer and the Organisation. The Publisher may, without being obliged to, provide the parties with the history of operations.

JonEasy NOW offers neither delivery nor takeaway: Customers' orders are placed and served on site. Deliveries organised by a depot through JonEasy SUPPLIERS are carried out by that depot, under its sole responsibility.

08Alcohol, regulated products and protection of minors

The Services may be used to offer, order or promote alcoholic drinks and other products whose sale is regulated. Their sale is the sole responsibility of the Organisation, which undertakes to hold the required licences and authorisations and to comply with the law of its country, in particular the ban on sales to minors, opening hours and advertising rules.

The app in no way replaces age checks by the Organisation's staff at the time of service or delivery. A Customer's majority is based on their own statement and does not amount to identity verification by the Publisher.

Any Account the Publisher has reason to believe belongs to a minor may be suspended and then deleted without notice. Reports may be sent to contact@joneasy.africa.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. The Services must not be used to encourage excessive consumption.

09Content, reviews, announcements and messaging

The User or Organisation remains the owner of its Content and is solely responsible for it. It warrants that it holds all necessary rights, in particular over photos, trademarks and images of persons, and that its Content is lawful, accurate, fair and not misleading.

It grants the Publisher, for the duration of its registration and worldwide, a free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, adapt and display that Content, to the extent necessary to provide and promote the Services (for example, showing a venue's catalogue, statuses and announcements to Customers).

Reviews must be based on a real experience and remain measured. Announcements, promotions and advertising run by an Organisation are its sole responsibility, including under the rules applicable to alcohol advertising.

The Publisher does not exercise general control over Content or over messaging exchanges. It may nevertheless, without notice or compensation, refuse, hide or remove any reported or manifestly unlawful Content, and suspend its author. Any Content may be reported to contact@joneasy.africa.

10Obligations and prohibited uses

The Organisation is solely responsible for its business: licences and administrative authorisations, tax, social-security and accounting obligations, relations with its Employees, customers and suppliers, accuracy of the data it enters and conformity of its products.

In particular, Users and Organisations must not:

  • use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or purposes contrary to public policy;
  • circumvent security measures, profiles and privileges, quotas, limits or billing;
  • record fictitious operations or conceal sales in order to avoid a commission;
  • access or attempt to access the data of another User or Organisation;
  • systematically extract or reuse data from the Services (bots, scraping);
  • decompile, disassemble, modify or reproduce the apps, or create derivative works from them;
  • resell, rent, sub-license or share an Account or a Plan;
  • use the Services to design or improve a competing product;
  • impersonate a third party or create fictitious accounts;
  • use messaging, calls or announcements for harassment, abusive solicitation or the distribution of unlawful content;
  • introduce a virus or any code likely to disrupt the Services.

11Intellectual property

The Services, the apps, their code, structure, databases, interfaces, texts, visuals and videos, and the trademarks, logos and names JonEasy, JonEasy PRO, JonEasy NOW and JonEasy SUPPLIERS, are the exclusive property of the Publisher or its licensors. They are protected by Cameroonian law, the Bangui Agreement and international conventions.

The Terms transfer no intellectual property right. The User is granted a mere personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right of use, limited to the duration of their registration and to the purposes of the Services. Any other use is prohibited and constitutes infringement.

The trademarks and logos of operators, payment methods and partners shown in the Services belong to their respective owners.

Operating data entered by an Organisation remains its property, as provided in the Privacy Policy. The Publisher may freely use the suggestions and comments sent to it, without consideration.

12Availability, maintenance and third-party services

The Publisher endeavours to provide access to the Services, without any obligation of result. It may suspend all or part of the Services for maintenance, updates or security reasons, without compensation.

The Services depend on third-party services outside the Publisher's control: telecommunications and electricity networks, app stores, hosting providers, mapping and geolocation services, notification and messaging services, Payment Providers. The Publisher is not liable for their interruptions, errors or terms.

Users are invited to install app updates. The Publisher may stop supporting older versions.

13No warranty

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publisher excludes any warranty, express or implied, in particular of continuity, absence of errors, performance, commercial results or fitness for a particular purpose.

The reports, balances, inventories, indicators, clock-ins, routes, distances and arrival times produced by the Services are management aids, based on the data entered by Users. They are not statutory accounts or payroll, nor accounting, tax, employment or legal advice. The Organisation remains solely responsible for its accounts, filings and decisions.

Exchange rates and converted amounts shown for information do not bind the Publisher.

14Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of revenue, profit, customers, data or opportunity, or damage to reputation.

Nor is the Publisher liable for: the products, prices, services, deliveries and practices of Organisations; the acts, omissions or fraud of Users and Employees; cash, stock or treasury discrepancies; payments confirmed in error; failures of Payment Providers, operators, hosting providers or app stores; inaccuracy of the data entered; or the use made of a User's credentials.

If the Publisher's liability is nevertheless established, it is limited, for all damage combined and per calendar year, to the amounts actually paid to the Publisher by the Organisation for its Plan during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability or, for a User who has paid nothing to the Publisher, to fifty thousand (50,000) CFA francs or the equivalent in local currency.

Any action against the Publisher must be brought within twelve months of the event giving rise to it, failing which it is time-barred. These limitations do not apply where the law prohibits them, in particular in case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

15Indemnification

The User and the Organisation shall indemnify the Publisher, its officers and staff against any claim, action, judgment, fine and costs, including legal fees, arising from: a breach of the Terms or of the law; their Content; the products and services sold, served or delivered; their relations with their Employees, customers, suppliers and authorities; or the sale of regulated products to unauthorised persons.

16Evidence and electronic communications

The logs, histories and records kept in the Publisher's systems under reasonable security conditions are evidence between the parties of the operations carried out, the confirmations given and the communications exchanged, unless the User proves otherwise.

The User agrees to receive information, invoices and notices relating to the Services electronically (notification, in-app message, SMS, WhatsApp or email). They are deemed received on the day they are sent.

17Term, suspension and termination

The Terms apply for as long as the Services are used. The User may stop using the Services and request deletion of their Account at any time, after paying the amounts due and, where applicable, using the balance of their Wallet.

The Publisher may suspend or close an Account, sales point or depot, automatically and without compensation: without notice in case of breach of the Terms, fraud or serious suspicion of fraud, false statement, security threat or request from an authority; and once a due date has passed unpaid in case of non-payment of a Plan.

The end of the relationship, whatever its cause, gives rise to no refund of amounts paid and leaves amounts owed payable. Data is kept, returned or deleted as provided in the Privacy Policy. The provisions on intellectual property, liability, indemnification, evidence and dispute resolution survive the end of the relationship.

18Force majeure

The Publisher is not liable for a failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control: breakdown or outage of telecommunications, Internet or electricity networks, failure of a hosting provider or Payment Provider, cyberattack, decision of an authority, unrest, strike, epidemic or natural disaster.

19Governing law and dispute resolution

The Terms are governed by Cameroonian law and, for the matters they cover, by the OHADA Uniform Acts.

Any complaint is first sent to contact@joneasy.africa. The parties shall endeavour to reach an amicable solution within thirty days of its receipt.

Failing an amicable agreement, any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or performance of the Terms falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Douala (Cameroon), including in case of multiple defendants, third-party proceedings or urgent proceedings, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules protecting consumers.

20Changes to the Terms and miscellaneous

The Publisher may amend the Terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on the website and in the apps, with its update date. Users are informed of substantial changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance.

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the others remain in full effect. The Publisher's failure to rely on a provision is not a waiver of the right to rely on it later. The Publisher may assign the Terms to any successor or acquirer of its business; the User may not assign their rights without the Publisher's written consent.

The Terms are drafted in French. In case of discrepancy with a translation, the French version prevails.
